On 1 January 2026, SNPS transitioned to the new pension. Most of the preparations took place during 2025. The implementation process was completed successfully and approved by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Through the CARE Shell Pension scheme, we have guided you step by step towards your new pension. The impact on SNPS participants was more limited than for participants in many other pension funds. SNPS already operated a defined contribution pension plan that was largely aligned with the principles of the new pension legislation.
